What is AX?-ripping, smoking guitar What is an AX MASTER?-an original who has shown repeatedly the ability to express the inner soul thru the playful bending of strings. There are alot of "damn good" players, not many are truly original. Some (like Clapton) will take a tune note for note and take it to new realms. Others take standard riffs and get something catchy- thats cool, good enjoyable sound is o.k. but it is the risk taking, creative 'music for music's sake' type of player that gets the top awards here!
